I love this wedding! Everything from the flowers, to the colour choice, to the stationary…. and then there is the dress and the blue shoes! Too amazing for words!
I met Martin & Kei through my lovely friend, Andrea. Martin & Andrea are brother and sister. Martin is from South Africa and Kei is from Tokyo. The lovely couple met in Tokyo and they currently live there. They decided to cross the ocean to say their vows at the beautiful Allee Bleue in Franschhoek.
Kei and I skyped a few times and kept in contact over many emails. She had a particular idea on how she wanted her day to look and I really did love the style she was going for. Fox and Co did an incredible job with the flowers and decor. The different shades of blue work so well with this particular venue and once the sun set and the fairy lights and candles took over, it looked so stunning!
Danieka from Picturist did a lovely job capturing their special day. I love how relaxed Martin & Kei look. Trying to select which ones to print will be a task in itself. Side Note: I think it is very important for the photographer to take some shots of the guests when they aren’t posing. This also helps the couple view the day in a totally different way, as they often miss those times. Danieka did this so well and she got some great photos during the reception and dancing.
One thing I must mention…. her dress! I absolutely adore Kei’s dress and I could stare at the lace on the back for hours! PLUS she wore Manolo Blahniks! How can you not be super envious right now?
I could, as per usual, go on and on about this wedding. But I will let the photos speak for themselves.
To Martin and Kei, thank you for allowing me to play such a large part in the planning of your big day. I loved getting to know you and I hope the memories of this day will forever bring a smile to your faces. I wish you love, light and happiness in your future together.
